Jamie Rosler
Artistic Executive Director, Co-Founder
Jamie has a BA in Theatre Arts and an MA in Performance. She has performed, as actor, dancer, or improviser, at New World Stages, the Players Theatre, Dixon Place, the George Wood Theatre (London), et al.
As a staff member at Left Hip Productions, she acted in half a dozen plays, directed a few, discovered her skills as a producer, and met Bob Teague, co-founder of Truant Arts.
Jamie is also a performer in and production manager of Rufus Khan, a short-form improv comedy troupe.
Though you can't tell from this bio, she loves to laugh and can be fairly witty.

Robert Teague
Artistic Director, Co-Founder
Bob came back to theater after a 20-year career in journalism because he had a burning desire to be a part of the creation of new work. Since reestablishing a New York beachhead in 2008, he has been involved in dozens of productions - as a producer, actor, director, playwright and stage hand. With every project, he has been awed by the talent and fearlessness the actors, directors and playwrights involved exhibited.
Not everyone has the guts to put it all on the line for the sheer joy of doing, and Bob (that would be me in the third person) is proud to have a small part in giving the ones who have those guts the opportunity to display them. He applauds not just the individuals, put also the teams they form. Indie theater is truly an act of love and an act of collaboration -- like a hippie commune without some of the more sticky, stinky bits.
Most of all, though, he applauds the audience willing to come out and participate in the process. Without butts in the seats, theater is all for not. So, thank you.
