Audio theater: Every reading is a performance
Truant Arts requests your presence at 7:30 p.m., June 19, as we test the waters on a new project -- live audio theater.
Come, watch a handful of actors present a cast of thousands (OK, maybe just tens) complete with sound effects ... did we mention it'll be LIVE.
Be amazed. Be befuddled. Be cool.
It's also an opportunity to publicly tell Bob Teague he's completely lost his mind this time. Such an opportunity is usually reserved for Jamie Rosler, so don't miss your chance.
As always with our readings, we are looking for your feedback.
What:
Truant Arts New Play Reading Series -- A public reading, live performance and open discussion of phase one of a new audio project by Bob Teague. The event will be directed by Frank-Thomas Grogan.
When/Where:
7:30 p.m., June 19 (a Thursday)
CAP21
18 W. 18th St., 5th Floor, Room 505
A $5 donation is respectfully and humbly suggested to help cover the costs of the space and continue the reading series.
