Alexandra Tatarsky is theater artist from New York City. She has adapted the absurdist vignettes of Daniil Kharms for the stage and performed in wild rewritings of Hedda Gabbler, The Bacchae and the Yiddish spirit possession love story Dybbuk. She recently wrapped a sold-out Fringe run of her original solo show “Beast of Festive Skin” about alchemists, rappers and other visionaries trapped in Hell and is thrilled to continue her tour of the underworld with Chaos, and Other Worldly Possessions.
Dani Pedraza is a senior at Pace University working towards her BFA in Acting. Originally from the Windy City she has worked with the American Girl Theatre, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the Chicago Opera Theatre.
Recent credits include: Eurydice (Big Stone) Planet Connections, Quake (Lucy) Pace University, and SOUND (Texas, anti bullying convention). Ariana has most recently been part of an untitled feature under the direction of Havelock Hewes. Recent credits include the role of Carrie in the film, Somnabulistic, Roxanne in Tough Cookies with Thespian Production, Karen in The Group with Tres Artis, and Sophie in Echoes with TheAlpha NYC. After getting her BA in Theater from Binghamton University, she came back to New York and continued to perform in films and theater, including credits such as The Man Who Loved Islands with The Queens Collective and Mimi in When The Coin Drops… with Truant Arts. Ariana is happy to be working alongside her generous cast under the direction of David Platt. Favorite credits include Gowdie in The Love talker and Bobbi in Some Girls. She is currently studying with Tres Artis in New York City. Rachael Solomon studied acting and directing, among other things, at Sarah Lawrence College and NYU. This is her second time working with Truant Arts previously, she performed in, The Beeping by Josh Drimmer.
Favorite roles include Kyra in Skylight, Molly in The Story of Susanna, Nina in Strange Interlude, and Summit in The Cost of Education. Rachael was accepted into two acting apprenticeships, NY Stage & Film's Powerhouse Theatre and The Berkshire Theatre Festival. Rachael was thrilled to get the opportunity to direct a play she also authored called Underdeveloped, which recently premiered at Manhattan Rep. She is a proud producer of DICE Theatre Company, a dramatic improv co. based in NYC which recently returned from their first West Coast performance with foolsFury Ensemble Theatre. In addition to her theatre credits, she has taught theatre and specifically, improv to hundreds of kids. When not in the theatre she works administratively in the arts. He studied theatre and English at Alfred University, where he performed in many productions. His favorite role in college was Picasso in Picasso at the Lapin Agile.
After moving to NYC, he co-created and performed in Icon, Arcana: Cycle of the Fool, and as Kafka in The Trial of K with Synaesthetic Theatre. Through Synaesthetic Theatre, Clinton met his husband, David Crittenden. When not performing, Clinton enjoys cooking, baking bread, and devouring a good book. Clinton would like to thank all his family and friends for all their encouragement and support. Ja-Ron Young is Philadelphia born actor/writer/standup comic. His past projects include “Truant Arts Fast and Loose Festival”, “Small Talk” at HB studios”, and “A Message from Leon Jones” which he wrote and starred in. His Stand Up comedy has been described as “Funny”, “Laughter inducing”, and “the currency in which all guffaws are dealt”. His writing Credits include “A Message from Leon Jones” and the upcoming Feature Film “Ashes” (Co-Writer). He enjoys Netflix, Cat Memes; and misusing the semi colon. Moving to New York over four years ago from Toronto, Canada, her home and native land, Marjorie has been lucky enough to work with these truants on a number of different projects. Some of her favorite performances (Truant and otherwise) include: 7 stories, The Vagina Monologues, Life Ellipses, and of course, Four Square. Many thanks to her family and friends for their constant support, and Jamie and Bob for continuing to ask her to hang out with the cool kids.
Cassandra is from a beautiful wooded and pastured region in Arkansas, but currently has near-daily opportunities to contemplate self-actualization while riding the G train. She spends a lot of her time doing that, and also being a seamstress. She very recently completed the MFA Theatre program at Sarah Lawrence College and is positively excited to continue to perform and make things.
Sarah Hammer is an actor and director working in New York City. She is a recent graduate of the conservatory program at Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Favorite acting credits include: Sasha in Ivanov directed by John Gould Rubin,; Jo in Independence; Annabella, Pamela, and Margaret in The 39 Steps; Ann in All My Sons; Cherie in Bus Stop; and Theresa in Boy Gets Girl. Directing credits include The Young Playwrights Festival at Michigan State University and Self-Torture and Strenuous Exercise by Harry Kondoleon. Shawn Ack is excited and pleased to be playing in Truant Arts' Chaos Under Construction. He was brought into existence in Brooklyn, NY and is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Conservatory Program in NYC. He has performed in numerous theatrical ensembles across Manhattan & Brooklyn and performed stand-up at the New York Comedy Club. Shawn is currently working on writing and producing new original works through his newly formed production company.
